Consultants & subsidies
Whether you are already running your own company or are about to found one, it is in your own interests to demand the best from your management consultant.
The following points should be considered

  • What are the qualifications of the consultant who wishes to assist you?

  • What practical experience does he have? What references can he provide?

  • How long has he been in business?

  • Is your consultant registered with the relevant subsidy programs (Chamber of Commerce and Industry, RKW for consultancy subsidies?

  • What references does your
    consultant have?

There is a subsidy program which under certain circumstances will pay up to 50% of the costs of a new business consultancy up to a maximum of DM 2500. Existing companies have the possibility of an expansion consultancy. New companies not older than two years can obtain a subsidy of a further 50% of costs up to a maximum of DM 3300. Companies which have been in existence longer than this receive a maximum subsidy of 40% or up to DM 3200 - and this for two separate consultancy projects.

There are also development programs in all regions of Germany which offer subsidies for consultancy costs. If you have any further questions please contact Elzenbeck & Partner or use our example calculator.
